<p>Surely these creatures must know by now that if they stay still for long enough they&#8217;ll end up being featured on this photoblog.</p>
<p>This moth, along with hundreds of others, was attracted to the light in the kitchen window. The frogs got fat.</p>

<p>We commonly see <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Grey_Kangaroo">Eastern Grey Kangaroos</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swamp_Wallaby">Swamp Wallabies</a>, and <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Wallaroo">Eastern Wallaroos</a> around our property. Less common, though, is the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-necked_Wallaby">Red-necked Wallaby</a>.  Two or three individuals have been spotted around the house over the past month or so. They&#8217;re more skittish than the other <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macropodidae">macropods</a>, so it&#8217;s a pleasure to have them stay still (almost) long enough for a photograph.</p>

<p>Moths are attracted to the light at the kitchen window at night.  Small frogs are attracted to the moths and sit vertically, clinging to the window pane. And here, we have the &#8220;Splat!!&#8221; after a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tawny_Frogmouth">tawny frogmouth</a> picked off a moth for itself.  The oily feathers left their mark.</p>
