Mary’s View: Kunderang Country

It was my first visit to Mary’s View, and a 12 hour, 550 km (340 mile) round trip. We’ve walked this country many times, and now know it reasonably well. We accessed Mary’s View via Werrikimbe National Park, and returned to Armidale via the Kempsey Road.

Here, we’re look down onto Kunderang country. East Kunderang homestead, now part of Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, is on the cleared land to the right of centre of the photograph, on the other side of the Macleay River.
