Christmas beetle – hooks

While reviewing my recent photographs of christmas beetles, I realised that this photograph did a reasonable job in illustrating the hooked “claws” that the beetles have, and which they use to cling to all and everything.

    Splendid photo. Wonderful colors in that creature…..now when it’s finally summer here I will have to look at one very very closely…..
