I tried to get some detail on the church (or convent) that featured in the top right of yesterday’s photograph across Darling Harbour. It’s a bit blurry, but not bad for 1520 mm zoom, hand held, on a compact camera. The close-up didn’t help me identify the building though, so I’m none the wiser.

St Augustines Catholic Church Balmain http://www.panoramio.com/photo/10975277 Very impressive up close.
Could be reached fairly easily by ferry to Balmain wharf and then about 1.5 km walk or bus.
