Arriving in Oodnadatta brought back memories that I’d completely forgotten. Friends and I stopped here in 1985 to get topographic maps marked with the location of various tracks before embarking on a west-east crossing of the Simpson Desert.
The Pink Roadhouse (no idea when it got that name), is pretty much a one-stop stop for supplies for travellers.
