We stopped to spend some time at a couple of natural artesian springs – water in the desert. The Wabma Kadarbu Mound Springs Conservation Park sits adjacent to the Oodnadatta Track and so is easily accessible by travellers. Here, we’re descending Hamilton Hill; Blanche Cup mound spring can be seen centre right. [For scale: see vehicles parked left of centre].
The white spot in the centre of the image, near the skyline, is a vehicle travelling on the Oodnadatta Track.
