Skin thin

From the corner of my eye I saw what looked like tissue paper blowing in the breeze. Except that we were high up on a ridge and the last thing I’d expect to see there was tissue paper. The fluttering object turned out to be skin. Gecko skin that had very recently been shed. It was so light that it was nearly impossible to get a decent photograph of it as it shimmied and quivered.
