Donkey orchid 2

Another Donkey Orchid, and slightly different from the one I posted a week or so ago. It may just be a variant of the previous one, or another member of the Diuris family – I know not. This specimen was found about 60 m (65 yards) from our house.

You certainly have some wonderful orchids around your property. We only have one on ours – The pyramid orchid Anacamptis pyramidalis as we are solid chalk once you go down a couple of feet.
