Brumbies on the Macleay

Brumbies (feral horses) are not uncommon in the gorge country. This mob was seen at the junction of the Macleay and Chandler rivers.

    They look in really good nick for brumbies. That’s good to see,they’re obviously thriving. So often one sees wild horses, skinny, struggling etc. I know that Brumbies are often seen as pests (by some agricultural backward bastards), but they are a true gift. Seeing horses running free is something that we should all get to experience. Allowing them to be free is the biggest gift we can give them.
