The Hammond and Wheatley Emporium, built in the early 1900′s is a National Trust listed building. Located in Hyde Street, Bellingen’s main street. It’s reputed to be Australia’s first concrete-block building.
Depending on where I look, this building was built in either 1900, 1902 or 1909. The building’s facia itself says 1900.
