Newton Boyd war memorial

The memorial to those from the Newton Boyd area, east of Glen Innes, who served or lost their lives in the Great War. It is, perhaps, a reflection of the loss of population in the rural areas that the memorial does not add names from the Second World War – we assume that by that time this rural hamlet had lost all, or the majority, of its population.
