All of the neighbouring properties have had sheep and/or cattle on them for several tens of years. The land has been cleared and so there’s a reduction in the availability of trees used as habitat by native animals. It was pleasing, therefore, to find this koala at the side of the road which passes through the neighbour’s property. The koala was dozing quietly, as they do for most of the day, when the dogs and I walked by.

Excellent natural habitat image. Certainly not often I spot them in the wild.
