Meeting of the waters

It’s not the best of viewpoints but what we’re looking at is Georges Creek, flowing from the right to centre of the photograph, meeting the Macleay River, which is flowing from the background towards us almost at the centre of the photograph, then the Macleay flowing to the left hidden from sight. The volume of water is due to the recent higher-than-normal rainfall and ensuing floods. This section of the Macleay River is viewed by following the Wollomombi to Kempsey road
