Back in August last year I posted some photographs taken during our search for an old mine – the Mickey Mouse Adit. We found what could have been the entrance to a mine shaft but, being winter, the cold water convinced us to wait until summer before exploring further.
So now is the time. We visited the Chandler River once again and this time we ventured in. Here’s Kerry just about to reach the far side. (The grey object in the water is a waterproof bag we use to keep equipment (eg camera and GPS) dry when crossing rivers).
