Kingaroy peanuts

Kingaroy, some 200 km (130 miles) west of Brisbane, claims to be the heart of Australia’s peanut industry. There are tens of silos seen in each storage block here. That’s a lot of peanuts.

Hi! Those peanut silos belong to the Peanut Company of Australia (PCA). FYI, PCA has a website http://www.pca.com.au which includes a lot of information about the Australian peanut industry and heaps of peanut recipes. You can also buy peanuts from Kingaroy online from The Peanut Van’s website http://www.peanutvan.com.au

Thanks Gordon for posting this great pic of the silos. Kingaroy residents (and I’m one) are proud of this landmark!
