Prickly Pear

Prickly Pear
Prickly Pear was introduced to Australia in the 1800′s. It’s not common in this area but, on our last walk into Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, we came across tens of specimens on one particular ridge — perhaps the seeds were deposited by birds, or in animal droppings.
