
Still at the Lakes, we see the rusting remains of somebody’s raft. Perhaps, as is the case elsewhere, the local community have an annual get-together where they race their hand-built craft (if there’s enough water).
Although the dark patch in the background looks quite near, it’s actually a distance away – foreshortened by the telephoto lens.
