The Club Hotel in Armidale was closed for several months while it was rebuilt from the inside out. It reopened a few months ago as the “whitebull”. I was surprised that it says that it was established in 1886. I’ve yet to discover whether a hotel by the same name (“whitebull”) opened in 1886, or if it just means that this building has been a hotel since 1886 (perhaps with various names).
And why is the white bull painted in red?
