Bloodsucking fly

Another March Fly. This time we’re in a different location and they look different to those seen previously. These March Flies have larger, or more prominent, light patches.

    Wow, lovely photo’s! I have never seen flies and snakes this close. My they look wonderful. You must have a very good camera! Do you come across these animals by chance or do you go out looking for them? Especially the snakes made me wonder.
