Having just had the Antique Machinery and Heavy Horse Fields Days, and the local Motor Show, another rural event was held this past weekend. The 2006 Armidale Four Seasons Rodeo. Rodeos aren’t quite my “thingâ€?, but I spent an hour watching the beginnings of the two day event. Here a contestant makes use of a few spare minutes to practice lassoing. [The zoom lens is foreshortening the image - he's not actually standing as close to the bale as he looks].
