Pounding into the Pound
Having walked up to, then over Tanderra Saddle we can now see into Wilpena Pound. I’m using a wide-angle lens here so, while it looks as if you could touch the peaks on the other side of the Pound, it’s actually another 12 km from here back to the Wilpena services area (which sits just outside the Pound).
