
It may not have been quite as cold this morning as it has been (it was -6.3 degC (20.7 degF)), but the frost was thick and crispy. By the time I was out and about, about 20 minutes after sunrise, the frost had already started to melt in those places touched by the sun (foreground), but was still present in those places where the sun had only just reached (middle- and back-ground).
