Sheep and grasses merge in colour

This image was shot about 40 minutes after sunrise this morning. The low eastern sun casts a pale yellow light which merges the dry autumn grasses with the dust-coated sheep fleeces. Incidentally, there was a minimum temperature of -7.1 degC (19 degF) this morning, so winter is most definitely on its way.

Wow, that is about as cold as it gets here (Needham Market, Nr Ipswich, England). Not very often much colder than that. Mind you I have been in Perth WA when it was pretty cold for there about 0 C.
