This photograph illustrates the contrasting weather of the day. It was bright and sunny and hot – then dark with the threat of heavy rain. The rain never really came to anything (there were several occasions when it was heavy for all of 10 seconds at a time), but I was impressed how dark it got – dark enough at times to think about turning a light on inside the house.
