Harbour-side

I spent a few moments trying to work out just what this building was supposed to be doing. Was the window-clad section supposed to be giving the impression of breaking or tilting away from the main building? Taken at Darling Harbour, Sydney.

The building is actually a nightclub. Interesting to see it from the outside during the day! I danced for rather a while in the bottom of the glass bit last Saturday last. Despite the club being called ‘Home’ I’d like to think the stick-out bit somehow is suggestive of a boat’s bow.
