Burning off fallen timber

It’s not common to see dead and cleared timber being burnt off in summer. Fire bans are usually in place at this time of year. The wet and slightly cooler conditions have, presumably, made the issuing of a permit possible in this case.

    As you say it must have been pretty damp over there this year. Normally evrything would be brown by now wouldn’t it? Certainly is in Perth, WA by this time of the year.
