Lizard on rock

Lizard on rock

I just caught a glimpse of this lizard as I drove past this morning. I got out to see how close I could get to the lizard with the camera. As it turned out he/she did the usual lizard trick of pretending not to be there and let me get within a few feet. I didn’t notice it at the time, but the fence post in the background looks like it’s being balanced on the lizard’s nose. I’ll just pretend it’s not there.

Been a little while since I have been here. This and some others I looked back at tells me I should not wait so long!

This is an awsome shot, did not even see the fence post ’til it was pointed out.
