A native grass that’s quite common around the property is Kangaroo grass. Its appearance (or reappearance) is related to the fact that we have no animals grazing, and therefore no pressure on the native grasses. Here we have the distinctive seed heads looking like marionettes dancing in the breeze.

This member of the pea family (Fabaceae) looks quite delicate and fragile. Again, I’ve not been able to identify this one - my reference material doesn’t have anything that compares with it. Each flower is less than 1 cm across.
