
This blue-cheeked crimson rosella seemed quite content to sit atop this post and munch away at some seeds. The shot was taken through the kitchen window which itself was being lit by the low morning sun. The resulting glare has been usefully reduced using Photoshop.

Now that is one pretty bird. I do not remember seeing any in the zoos here in the states, or even in stores that specialize in selling birds. I like his little eyelashes.
Ooh! Beautiful bird! Gorgeous colours, especially how the feathers vary in shades from pale to deep, deep colours!
That is a very nice thing to wake up and see in the morning.
