The rain brings green feed

The rain over the past month or so, albeit bringing us up to only just over 50% of the annual rainfall for the year to date, transformed the crusty brown farmland into, visually at least, something more pleasant. I say “visually” because, although the grass looks lush and healthy, there’s not much body to it yet.
