This is an example of the most common form of Goodenia to be found across our 100 acres. They’ll flower now for the next 6 or 7 months adding colour to the woodland floor and grasslands. Whilst not the sharpest of shots, I think the varying texture of light painted across the petals is quite interesting. This flower is about 1.2 cm (0.8 inches) across.
In order to maintain detail, and not suffer highlight burnout, I usually underexpose by between 0.5 and 1.5 stops.
