The next round of orchids have appeared. We now have several tens of Donkey Orchids (Diuris) in a few areas across the property. As best I can determine, we only have this single variety at the moment. Last year I’m pretty sure I was able to differentiate two, if not three, different varieties of this yellow Donkey Orchid. Perhaps the others will yet make an appearance over the coming weeks.
The actual size of the flowers is around 2 cm (0.8 inches) across.
