Chive flowering

Another overcast and windy day which makes for difficult macro photography. Here’s the strangely shaped flower of a chive emerging. The transparent outer sheath, or skin, dries out and withers.

    love the simplicity of this image, dof works nicely. contrast of the flower details with such a smooth background is very appealing.
