Taken at the Mother of Ducks Lagoon at Guyra, this tree has a magnificent layer of lichen over most of its bark.

I love the Northern Tablelands. I noticed that also in Guyra. I guess there must be a few fogs. Gets some nice brief snowfalls during the winter months. I am from the Gold Coast hinterland, just as beautiful but in a sub tropical sense.
