One track mind

Closeup of a track from an LP

An entry to the “macroday” challenge for the week beginning February 13 with the theme “Music”.

After contemplating musical instruments, and CD’s for this week’s “macroday” theme, I decided that a track from a vinyl LP was more visual. The music translates to twisting and turning lines forming the grooves. This image reminds me to be in awe of something that is so simple that can yet sound so sharp and colourful- better, some will tell you, than today’s digital reproductions.

[The image is a crop from a larger frame, of lesser quality than I would like. I can see that I'm going to have to buy a decent macro lens soon :-) ]
