Receptacles

An audioBlog accompanies these photographs [2.3 Mbytes, 6 min 19 sec duration]. The audio commentary is also distributed as a podcast. You need to subscribe to my RSS2 feed towards the bottom of the right hand column on this page and you need to use aggregator software capable of utilising this.

Today’s theme is receptacle meaning a container that holds items or matter. Isn’t that a great word? It’s from the latin, recipere, to receive.

Bins
Bins, bins, everywhere …

Bin
… even in the middle of the driveway.

Cargo vessels
In one shot I get 3 vehicles used as receptacles. Places to hold things. In one case I get double points. An orange garbage-bag, itself holding “stuff”, is itself held in the back of the ute.

Bin
And to complete the series, a classic bin, as with most bins, relegated to live outside the back door.
