I can’t think of any other road in this area where old telephone poles still run along the fence line (albeit only for a short distance). For some reason these have managed not to be salvaged or otherwise removed.

That’s great, look how short they are. I really like this photo, especially the colors.
We have a set of RR tracks by our home if you follow them out you’ll find these same polls with the green insulators on them. I’m wanting to get a peice to hang on my fence before they are all gone. just the cross member on top that is no poll. figure I could hang some plants and maybe a bird house fron the insulators. love to photo though
