I spent some time over the past few days trying to think of a subject for the “Sadness” theme. Then, this morning, I came across this dead wallaby and thought “Oh, how sad, how pathetic this poor creature looks”. It took a few moments to realise that I had my subject.
I’ve no idea why this animal had died. It hadn’t been hit by a vehicle, it didn’t look to have been caught in the fence, it had no obvious injury – perhaps it just died.
[An entry to the Theme Thursday: Sadness challenge].
