I went for a drive this afternoon to explore a back road I didn’t know about until last week. The Kilcoy Road lead me to Wollomombi, a tiny village about 40km / 25 miles from Armidale.
Not far from Wollomombi we have this view of a property (farm) overlooking the Wollomombi River. No, the image isn’t a faded 1950′s kodachrome print, this is the natural colour of the area at the moment – we’re officially in drought again.
